I am a tangible photo maker with an eye for black and white, which proves more truthful to what I see more than anything else. I purchased my first DSLR after much enthusiastic use of film cameras that led to retraining my eyes to see differently, photographically, in colour. Using black and white film is my main inspiration - it is the god of contrast and tone. More importantly, it is the spaces that inspire and exist in between these tones that are far more interesting than the specific objects in the images.

Photography allows the eyes to breathe, to search, and escape the reality of being too close to things, objects, subjects, and life.
